He Fangming, Vice President of China Edible Fungi Association presided over the meeting.
Relying on beautiful mountains and clean rivers to create an advantageous business card for "Fu Fungi"
China is a big country in the production and consumption of edible fungi. Since China’s reform and opening up, as an emerging strategic "edible, medicinal and medical" industry, the edible fungi industry has developed into an indispensable part of the construction of ecological agriculture. All kinds of edible mushrooms with various shapes and rich nutrition have become delicious delicacies on popular dining tables and health treasures for the common people.
According to Yan Keshi, Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Fuzhou City, relying on the natural advantages of beautiful mountains and clean waters in recent years, Fuzhou has promoted modern facility cultivation, developed rare characteristic varieties such as Ganoderma lucidum and cultivated a number of local characteristic advantageous products such as Pleurotus geesteranus. China's largest Pleurotus geesteranus production base is in Luoyuan County, Fujian Province. Ganoderma lucidum from GANOHERB has been exported to more than 30 countries and regions. Nowadays, the "Fu Fungi" brand, which is characterized by greenness and organicity, has become a bright business card for the agriculture of Fuzhou city and even Fujian province.
Yan Keshi, Deputy Mayor of Fuzhou Municipal People's Government, addressed the conference.
The "small mushroom" has developed into a "big industry" for poverty alleviation and prosperity.
The culture of edible-medicinal mushrooms such as Ganoderma lucidum originated in China. It is the cultural and economic link of China to the world. It connects tens of millions of farmers on one side and hundreds of millions of consumers on the other. In particular, the industry of Ganoderma lucidum as the most representative edible-medicinal fungi has developed into a characteristic poverty alleviation industry in Fujian and Zhejiang.
"As of 2019, China's total output of edible fungi has reached 37.12 million tons, with an output value of 272.1 billion yuan. The annual export of various edible (medicinal) fungi products exceeds one million tons, and the output of edible fungi accounts for more than 70% of the world's total output. Among them, Fujian’s comprehensive output value of edible fungi exceeds 90 billion yuan, which is among the top in China.”Gao Maolin, Executive Vice President of China Edible Fungi Association, said in his speech that in recent years, GANOHERB, as one of leading edible-medicinal fungi companies, has innovated the poverty alleviation model of "plantation + peasant household + cooperatives", making the industry of edible-medicinal fungi such as Ganoderma lucidum into an important force to promote the "poverty alleviation", "rural revitalization" and "integration of agricultural industry, agricultural product processing industry and agriculture-related service industry".
Gao Maolin, Executive Vice President of China Edible Fungi Association, delivered a speech.
The development of China's first national standard on Ganoderma lucidum spore powder was led by GANOHERB.
"For any industry to develop steadily, the development and improvement of the industry standards must be paid attention to." According to experts from China National Institute of Standardization, the "Standards on Harvesting and Processing Techniques of Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder" (GB /T 29344-2012) is currently the only national standard in the Ganoderma lucidum spore powder industry. This standard has been implemented for more than seven years and it is necessary to be amended because only the standard that keeps pace with the times can adapt to the new requirements of the market and can be further used to regulate and promote the healthy development of the Ganoderma lucidum spore powder industry.
An expert from China National Institute of Standardization said that "the prerequisite for the industry to go global is that standards go ahead of the rest".
"At present, there are 99 varieties of medicines with Ganoderma lucidum as the main ingredient, 430 drug approval numbers, and more than 1,200 health foods with Ganoderma lucidum/Ganoderma lucidum spore powder as the main raw material. The market demand for Ganoderma lucidum is huge, and the spore powder is the main force. "In the opinion of Li Ye, President of GANOHERB, the harvesting and processing process has a great influence on the quality of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder and even directly determines the quality of the final product of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder. The revision of this standard will further improve the quality of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder in China and enhance the level of the standardization and internationalization of the spore powder industry in China.
Li Ye, President of GANOHERB Group, made an introduction on the background and significance of the revision of the national standard for spore powder.

The launching ceremony for the revision of national standards for spore powder
After the exciting launching ceremony, Sun Xiaobo, Director of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, also gave a wonderful report at the meeting. He believed that the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine is a major national demand, and high-quality Chinese medicine products must need the construction of the whole process quality standard and the establishment of the whole process quality traceability system. GANOHERB has been certified organic by China, the United States, Japan and the European Union for 15 consecutive years. It has organized the development of more than a dozen national, industry and group standards. It adopts high standards and good raw materials sources to ensure the high quality of products. Any industry needs to pursue such a high standard.
Sun Xiaobo, Director of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, made a report on "To Promote High-Quality Development of Industry with High Standards".
Epidemic prevention and control will become normalized. How to develop the medicinal fungi industry with high quality? Professor Zhang Jinsong, Director of the Institute of Edible Fungi, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Lin Zhibin from Peking University Health Science Center, Professor Lan Jin from Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Chen Ruoyun from Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Yang Baoxue from Peking University Health Science Center and Li Ye, President of GANOHERB Group conducted in-depth discussions and wonderful sharing on this topic in combination with the industry development needs of the new era.
The experts who participated in the salon forum discussed how the medicinal fungi industry can develop with high quality.
"We must add some new and good things to the standard based on the market, especially the needs of consumers and the relevant national policies, to make it more complete and to lead and support the industry to better high-quality development." At the seminar on the revision of the national standard for spore powder, participating experts, scholars and entrepreneur representatives combined their own experience and corporate development practices to actively advise on the revision of the national standard for spore powder.
Experts at the spore powder national standard revision seminar actively provided suggestions.
When interviewed by reporters, Professor Lin Zhibin of Peking University Health Science Center said that the standards for traditional Chinese medicine fungi should start from the source.
Researcher Lan Jin from the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences introduced to the media the far-reaching impact of the national key research and development plan in cooperation with GANOHERB on traditional Chinese medicine industry.
At the scene, President Li Ye answered questions from reporters and talked about the efforts made by GANOHERB in standardizing the development of the Ganoderma lucidum industry.
This meeting was hosted by Medicinal Fungi Committee of China Edible Fungi Association and National Technical Committee 64 on Food Industry of Standardization Administration of China and supported by China Edible Fungi Association, Fujian Institute of Standardization and Fujian Edible Fungi Industry Association. The organizer GANOHERB Group worked closely with industry experts to actively take the lead in revising the national standards for spore powder, enhance the right of speech of China's Ganoderma lucidum industry, break through technical barriers and help speed up the development of traditional Chinese medicine Ganoderma lucidum towards the industrialization, marketization and internationalization.
