On the afternoon of June 26, the 2021 Agricultural Science South-South Cooperation Forum just came to an end in Fuzhou. The GANOHERB Biotech Center in Fuzhou High-tech Zone received some guests attending the forum.

Under the guidance of Geng Hong, Chairman of the South-South International Trade Promotion Center, Zhou Yiping, former Director of the Special Unit for South-South Cooperation of the United Nations Development Programme, Li Shaoping, Professor of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines (University of Macau), Zhang Qiqing, Second-level Professor of Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Chen Junchen, former deputy director and researcher of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering Technology of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhang Yun, chairman of the Fujian Science, Technology and Cultural Innovation Association, and other leading guests, more than a dozen international friends from Nigeria, Pakistan and other developing countries came to the National R&D Center for Edible Fungi Processing-GANOHERB for inspection and exchange. Li Xiaoyu, Vice General Manager of GANOHERB group, and Wu Changhui, Chief Engineer of GANOHERB R&D Center, warmly received the visiting guests.

In the testing center, international friend witnessed the sporoderm breaking of Ganoderma lucidum spores.

In the brand new GANOHERB Biotech Center, Chief Engineer Wu Changhui briefly introduced the functions and equipment technology of GANOHERB's R&D center, testing center, and production center, especially GANOHERB's patented technologies in deep processing of Ganoderma lucidum, and solutions for safe management and control of heavy metals, pesticide residues and mycotoxins in the product processing and circulation process, informing the guests of the excellent production and R&D strength of GANOHERB.

Everyone showed high enthusiasm for the supercritical CO2 extraction technology of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil.

In the exchanges, international friends showed high interest in GANOHERB’s Ganoderma lucidum planting technology that does not apply chemical fertilizers and pesticides as well as the technology of supercritical CO2 extraction technology of spore oil. They kept inquiring about how to achieve the whole process control in production and processing.

Therefore, in 2014, GANOHERB won the United Nations award in recognition of special contribution to South-South and Triangular Cooperation at the Global South-South Development Expo. In 2015, our GANOHERB Ganoderma base in Pucheng was officially awarded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization as the "Demonstration Base of Edible-Medicinal Mushroom Cultivation and Processing Technology" ."

International friends were very interested in all kinds of Ganoderma beverages such as Ganoderma coffee for export.

In the Ganoderma culture exhibition hall of GANOHERB, Li Xiaoyu, Vice General Manager of GANOHERB Group, introduced to the guests the various efforts and achievements made by GANOHERB in promoting South-South cooperation and assisting in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years. She also made in-depth exchanges and discussions with foreign friends on the application of agricultural technology.

After the visit, international friends all expressed that the trip to GANOHERB was very rewarding, and hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with leading Chinese edible-medicinal mushroom companies such as GANOHERB in the future, and jointly build and share the "Belt and Road" open agriculture.

In the future, GANOHERB will continue to uphold the concept of "sharing Chinese Ganoderma with the world" as its vision. While working hard to promote Chinese Ganoderma culture to the world, GANOHERB will further contribute to the realization of wider South-South cooperation.
