At the 2018 International Ganoderma Cultural Festival on July 9th, the academicians and experts at home and abroad attended the opening ceremony, went to GANOHERB Technology Industrial Park, visited the GANOHERB Science and Technology Exhibition Hall and learned about the production and research achievements of GANOHERB in recent years.

In the morning, all academicians also witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony of GANOHERB International Exchange Center. Covering an area of 50,000 square meters with a planned investment of 100 million yuan, this construction project will take 3 years to complete and the estimated date of completion will be 2020. After completion, it can be used as a communication center for culture, scientific research and academics of Ganoderma in Fujian and even the whole country. It has a Reishi Museum, a cultural corridor, a sightseeing factory, and a herb garden. It will realize the organic integration of the first, second and third industry by linking to the culture, nature, tourism and production resources so as to promote the Ganoderma lucidum culture to the whole world.

In the afternoon, representatives from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicinal Plants of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the China Edible Fungi Association, Fujian Medical University, Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Taiwan University joined the salon themed on Ganoderma and Massive Health and launched wisdom dialogues over the topics with the theme of Lingzhi such as the "Ganoderma and Health China", "Ganoderma and Chinese Health Culture", "Ganoderma Lucidum and Anti-tumor" and other issues.
