On July 29, the meeting for the expert technical review of group standards organized by Fujian Edible Fungi Industry Association was held at the headquarters of GanoHerb.

On the same day, after conducting an on-site review of the drafts of the two group standards including "Sporoderm-broken Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder" and "Technical Specifications for Industrialized Production of Ganoderma" jointly drafted by Fujian Xianzhilou Biological Science and Technology Co., Ltd., GanoHerb Technology (Fujian) Corporation, Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other institutions, the participating experts unanimously agreed to pass the review.

According to reports, Fujian Province is one of the main producing areas of Ganoderma, and its output and consumption of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder are relatively larger. In order to further improve the quality of Ganoderma products and promote the healthy development of the spore powder industry in Fujian Province, GanoHerb led the development of the group standard "Sporoderm-broken Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder", which is stricter in terms of sensory index, identification, marker composition and content, physicochemical index and microbial index of sporoderm-broken spore powder than the technical requirements of "Health Food Raw Material Catalog: Sporoderm-Broken Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder" issued by State Administration for Market Regulation. This standard can meet the technical requirements for the filing of health food products of sporoderm-broken Ganoderma lucidum spore powder.

This time, GanoHerb also led the development of the "Technical Specifications for Industrialized Production of Ganoderma", including site environment, strain production, production of fungus bags, sprouting management and spores collection, covering the whole process of industrialized production of Ganoderma, and guiding and promoting the development of the Ganoderma industry towards high quality.

At the meeting, the experts reviewed in detail the two standard drafts submitted by the leading unit, GanoHerb, and put forward amendments. After thorough discussion, the expert group agreed that the drafting work of the two standards is rigorous, the basis for the development of the standards is sufficient, and the texts are written in a standardized way, and the drafts are scientific, advanced and operable and are of great significance to promoting the standardized and high-quality development of the Ganoderma industry in Fujian province. The expert group unanimously agreed to pass the review.

Up to now, GanoHerb has successively undertaken the development of 15 national, industry and local standards for Ganoderma, including national standards for Ganoderma lucidum spore powder. GanoHerb also participated in the development of international business standards for Ganoderma lucidum extract (water extraction/alcohol extraction) and international business standards for Ganoderma lucidum spore oil.

The development of the above-mentioned two group standards will further standardize and accelerate the development of the Ganoderma industry towards high quality in Fujian province.
