This year marks the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. To further promote exchanges and cooperation between the youth of the two countries and deepen mutual understanding and friendship, Xie Feng, Chairman of the American Chinese United Association., led the "U.S. Collegiates Asia Entrepreneurship Tour" delegation to Fujian for a visit from August 14 to 17, 2024. On August 15, accompanied by Lin Mianjian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Fuzhou High-tech Zone, the delegation visited relevant enterprises in the Fuzhou High-tech Zone.

One of the stops for the delegation was GanoHerb Group, a national high-tech enterprise and a national key leading company in agricultural industrialization, specializing in the Reishi health industry.0

 

Under the reception of Li Ye, Chairman of GanoHerb Group, Chairman Xie Feng and his delegation toured the GanoHerb Biological Science and Technology Center and the Academic Achievements Museum of Professor Lin Zhibin. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire process of Reishi cultivation, from strain breeding to product manufacturing, and deeply appreciated the rich heritage of Reishi culture.

Next, the delegation visited the Academic Achievements Museum of Professor Lin Zhibin, which houses a valuable collection of books, documents, manuscripts, artifacts, interviews, and awards accumulated over many years by Professor Lin. The museum serves as an important window for the exchange and dissemination of Chinese Reishi culture.

Professor Lin Zhibin, as a leading authority in Reishi research, has earned the admiration of American university students for his tireless dedication and significant achievements in the field of Reishi.

At the meeting, Li Ye, Chairman of GanoHerb Group, first welcomed Chairman Xie Feng and his delegation. "The reason we chose to establish ourselves in the High-tech Zone is due to its favorable business environment and its proximity to the university city. The city is very inclusive and offers excellent opportunities for young entrepreneurs and job seekers."

"Although today's tour was tightly scheduled, it was also very enriching. The students were all excited. The innovations in Fuzhou's High-tech Zone were truly eye-opening and rewarding. I hope to have the opportunity to bring more students here for learning and exchange," shared Michael Selfridge, Director of International Programs at the Airline Ambassadors International (AAI) and the students' group leader, as he enthusiastically reflected on the visit.

 

The student representatives from the delegation expressed that the trip was both enjoyable and thoughtful, allowing them to deeply experience the charm of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity in Fuzhou's High-tech Zone. It was a wonderful learning experience.

 

Sophia Ayala Quintanilla, an American university student with a sensitive constitution prone to allergic reactions, was pleased to find that after drinking Reishi tea, she did not have any allergic reactions. This provided her with a safe option to explore natural therapies and boost her immunity.

 

Kimila Latour, an American university student who adheres to vegetarianism with a focus on environmental sustainability and health, expressed her excitement: "I look forward to the opportunity to intern here next year. Through practical experience, I hope to not only deepen my professional knowledge but also integrate my personal dietary philosophy into my work and life."
