With the departure of the Dragon and the arrival of the Snake, the theme of the 2025 Yisi Year of the Snake Spring Festival Gala is "Si Si Ruyi, Sheng Sheng Bu Xi" ('Endless Prosperity'). Following the unveiling of the official mascot "Si Sheng Sheng" for the 2025 Spring Festival Gala on December 2 by China Central Television (CCTV), the Oracle Bone Script character "Si' and its integration with various traditional Chinese elements have become widely discussed.

The mascot for the 2025 Year of the Snake Spring Festival Gala is named "Si Sheng Sheng." Its design is inspired by the traditional Chinese artistic motif of a "snake holding Reishi," symbolizing good fortune, longevity, and health.

The overall design references the character "Si" from Oracle Bone Script, exuding both a charming innocence and an ancient flair. In line with the theme of the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, "Si Si Ruyi, Sheng Sheng Bu Xi" ("Endless Prosperity"), "Si Sheng Sheng" radiates an aura of good fortune.
The contour of the head and the spiral shapes on the cheeks are inspired by a silver-gilt Ruyi unearthed from the Tang Dynasty tomb at Famen Temple in Fufeng, Shaanxi. From the bat ornamentation on the head to the longevity character knot on the tail, the entire design carries the symbolic meaning of "Fortune starts at the head and follows through to the tail with Ruyi."

The belief that the spirit snake protects the divine herb (Reishi mushroom) has been passed down for centuries in China. In ancient legends, the snake, crane, and Reishi mushroom were all considered life-extending entities, symbolizing good fortune.
Reishi, the "King of Herbs," is revered as a divine medicinal herb. It is said that only with the protection of the spirit snake could Reishi contribute to immortality, growing more extraordinary with each passing year.
Reishi is a type of fungus that grows on decaying wood, and it can only thrive under specific conditions such as proper air quality, humidity, and light, drawing in the natural essence.

However, with the increasing destruction of natural ecosystems in modern times, the natural environmental conditions required for Reishi to grow have become increasingly rare. This is why it is said that "Only in a feng shui auspicious site can high-quality Reishi mushroom grow."
The Wuyi Mountains are the kingdom of snakes and Reishi. Located at the confluence of Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi provinces, at the source of the Three Rivers in the Wuyi Mountain range, this area preserves the most complete, typical, and largest primary subtropical forest ecosystem in the world at the same latitude.

Here, the annual average temperature is 18℃, the climate is humid and hot. It's not only a "World Dual Heritage Site", but also the origin of organic Ganoderma growing on logs in South China. Moreover, it's known as the "Kingdom of Snakes", which perfectly verifies the magical legend of "snakes guarding Ganoderma.

GanoHerb’s Organic Ganoderma
GanoHerb was the first here to adhere to the four major organic standards of China, the United States, Japan, and the European Union. Following the principle of "one Reishi mushroom cultivated on a single log", with a rotation system of two years of cultivation and three years of fallow, irrigation with mountain spring water, and manual weeding and pest control, GanoHerb strictly controls the authenticity and high quality of Reishi and spore powder raw materials from the very beginning.
Today, the GanoHerb Reishi Base has been awarded the title of "Demonstration Base for the Cultivation and Processing Technology of Edible and Medicinal Mushroom" by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). It has also been recognized as one of the first national "Three No's and One Full" Reishi brand bases (no sulfur processing, no aflatoxin contamination, no pollution, and fully traceable throughout the process), a base for high-quality agricultural international trade development, the first national key research and development program demonstration base for the modernization of Reishi in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and one of the first Reishi bases to pass the extended inspection for Chinese medicinal herb GAP (Good Agricultural Practice).
