GanoHerb Xiamen Mid-Autumn Bobing Banquet

The eighth month of the lunar calendar marks the Mid-Autumn season, a time when families and friends come together to celebrate reunion, share warm wishes, and enjoy cherished traditions.

On September 13, the 2026 Xiamen Regional Mid-Autumn Bobing Family Banquet, themed “Sending Longing at Mid-Autumn, Sharing Reunion with Reishi,” came to a successful close. Members from GanoHerb’s Xiamen region and guests from various fields gathered to experience the traditional custom of Bobing, learn more about Reishi culture and GanoHerb’s products, and enjoy an evening of friendship and reunion.

The venue was thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and festive Mid-Autumn atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests stopped to take photos and capture memorable moments from the evening.

Reishi-themed displays offered guests an opportunity to learn more about the ingredient, its cultural heritage, and GanoHerb’s approach to product development and quality management.

At the opening of the event, Mr. Li Jiasong, Chief Marketing Officer of GanoHerb, delivered remarks reflecting on the meaning of Mid-Autumn and the company’s relationship with its members:

Exploring Reishi Research and Product Development

Ms. Zhou Meiyan, Academic Manager at GanoHerb and Licensed Pharmacist in China, delivered a presentation titled “Tracing the Source, Leading through Compound Formulas.”

Drawing on product development and quality traceability, she introduced GanoHerb’s approach to ingredient sourcing, formulation, and quality management, highlighting the company’s efforts to maintain traceability from raw materials through finished products.

During the presentation, Ms. Zhou also introduced GanoHerb’s latest development in compound Reishi formulations: GanoHerb 2nd Generation Reishi Spore Oil.

Building on the company’s existing Reishi spore oil formulation, the new formulation combines Reishi-derived ingredients from Ganoderma lucidum (Red Reishi) and Ganoderma sinense (Purple Reishi).

The presentation highlighted selected Reishi-derived compounds found in the formulation, including triterpenes, polysaccharides, and Ganoderic Acid A. It also introduced the formulation’s use of a concentrated Reishi extract prepared according to GanoHerb’s specified extraction process.

From ingredient sourcing and formulation to finished-product quality management, GanoHerb continues to focus on traceability, quality management, and product development.

The “GanoHerb Sworn Alliance Award” recognized members who have been with GanoHerb for 21 years.

The awards represented GanoHerb’s appreciation for the time, trust, and shared experiences of its long-standing members.

The evening continued with a series of lively interactive activities.

In the “Shake & Grab Silver Certificates” speed challenge, participants shook their phones as the real-time rankings appeared on the main screen, creating an energetic and entertaining atmosphere.

A lucky draw followed, with a selection of gifts adding further excitement to the celebration.

Musical performances also brought guests together, filling the venue with applause, laughter, and festive energy.

The highlight of the evening was the traditional Mid-Autumn Bobing game.

As a performer dressed as the God of Wealth struck the bronze gong to announce the start, the sound of rolling dice and cheers filled the hall.

For generations, Bobing has been a cherished Mid-Autumn tradition in Xiamen and southern Fujian. The tradition brings families, friends, and communities together to share laughter and celebrate the spirit of reunion.

With every roll of the dice, guests shared their excitement and exchanged good wishes for the year ahead.

From the traditional spirit of Bobing to the warmth of long-standing friendships, the evening brought together culture, celebration, and shared memories.
