The optimal time for spore collection is when the cap stops expanding, the surface is uniformly colored, the edges show three thickened layers, and the bottom of the cap is plump and milky white. At this stage, the spores are almost fully mature and at peak nutritional value.

 

While the spores can be ejected for up to 3-4 months, we only collect spore powder from the first 50 days. This ensures we discard empty or shrunken spores, guaranteeing the finest quality, full-bodied, and highly bioactive spore powder.
