Recently, GanoHerb's national invention patent application—"Method for Preparing Reishi Spore Oil with Enhanced Tumor Metastasis Inhibition"—has officially passed the review by the National Intellectual Property Administration and been granted a patent, marking another national invention patent for GanoHerb.

Animal experiments have demonstrated that Reishi spore oil prepared by this method has the efficacy of enhancing tumor metastasis inhibition and improving immune function.

This patent has two major highlights:

1. Cleaner, organic spore powder with no plasticizers or pesticide residues:

The traditional process of preparing Reishi spore oil often leads to issues such as pesticide residues and excessive plasticizers, which, when consumed over time, can affect the nervous system, damage liver function, and lower immunity.

This patent purifies the raw Reishi spore powder, removing harmful substances and fat-soluble impurities from the sporoderm. The resulting spore oil is free of plasticizers and pesticide residues, fresh, organic, and safer for consumption.

2. Higher active ingredient content in spore oil:

With the patented purification process, the structure of the sporoderm becomes more porous. After sporoderm-breaking, this process facilitates the dissolution of active ingredients during the spore oil extraction.

The Reishi spore oil produced by this patented method contains ≥30% total triterpenes and ≥350 mg of ergosterol per 100g, resulting in higher active ingredient content. This leads to more pronounced immune regulation, liver protection, and enhanced efficacy in inhibiting tumor metastasis.

To date, GanoHerb has obtained 40 national invention patents, including over 10 patents related to anti-tumor applications, involving Reishi spore oil and Reishi extracts.

For example, the patent "An Anti-Tumor Softgel of Whole Reishi and Its Preparation Method" (Chinese Patent No.: ZL201510580594.2) is applied to GanoHerb’s second-generation Reishi spore oil.

Another patent, "Anti-Tumor Components in Reishi Spore Oil and Their Preparation Method" (Chinese Patent No.: ZL201310043010.9), produced an anti-tumor composition that inhibits tumor cell growth both in vivo and in vitro, with an inhibition rate of over 56.3%.
