Information

Whether it's corporate growth, product upgrades, or meeting diverse consumer needs, continuous scientific research is the driving force behind it all.

After completing "Data Proves It! GanoHerb Leads the Industry in Reishi Research" based on two recent journal articles analyzing the trends in reishi research over the past two decades, I was curious about the specific scientific research conducted by GanoHerb. As a result, I conducted a comprehensive search using China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and PubMed to identify research papers on reishi published by Fujian Xianzhilou Biological Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and the National R&D Sub-Center for Edible Fungi Processing Technology.

The results showed that GanoHerb's earliest Chinese-language research paper on reishi was "Analysis of Fatty Acid Components in Reishi Spore Oil," published in June 2005 in the journal Mycological Research. The most recent one is "GanoExtra Enhances the Efficacy and Reduces the Toxicity of Cyclophosphamide in Inhibiting Lung Metastasis of Mouse Breast Cancer," published in June 2024 in the Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin.

In terms of English-language publications on reishi research, GanoHerb's earliest study was "Development of Reishi Polysaccharide Injection," co-authored with Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and the Molecular Characterization of Foodborne Pathogens Research Unit, USDA ARS, and published in International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms in May 2014. The most recent study, "Ganoderma triterpene complex scavenges doxorubicin-induced senescent liver cancer cells," was co-authored with the Key Laboratory of Natural Product Pharmacology, Fujian Medical University, and published in Frontiers in Pharmacology in September 2024.

From the publication of its first research paper in 2005 to November 27, 2024 when this article was written, GanoHerb has published at least 65 Chinese and 15 English research papers on reishi, spanning nearly 20 years. These studies cover a wide range of topics, including cultivation techniques, production processes, quality control, authentication and traceability, safety and toxicology analysis, component analysis, pharmacological activity, and health benefits. Some of these studies were conducted independently by GanoHerb, while others were carried out in collaboration with other institutions. The following is a categorized summary of these research findings, including the journals in which they were published and the collaborating institutions.

After reviewing the aforementioned scientific literature published in academic journals, I was struck by the sheer number of details that require attention and research to cultivate and produce high-quality Ganoderma.

The aforementioned research, covering various aspects such as Ganoderma cultivation techniques, production processes, quality control, identification and traceability, safety and toxicity analysis, component analysis, pharmacological activity, and health benefits, although representing only a small portion of GanoHerb's investment in Ganoderma research, specifically and microcosmically reveals the origins of GanoHerb's establishment of the entire Ganoderma industry chain. It also illustrates that "GanoHerb Ganoderma" not only benefits from the nurturing of good mountains and good water but also possesses the inherent qualities of scientific and technological innovation and the strength for product upgrades.

In this mixed Ganoderma market, with GanoHerb focusing on scientific research to ensure the safety and quality of Ganoderma, continuously creating science-based and health-promoting Ganoderma products for the world, it is indeed a great reassurance and blessing for consumers.
