Ingredients

GanoHerb Organic Purple Reishi Slices 10 grams
Red bean 20 grams
Coix seed 80 grams
Glutinous rice 100 grams (for two servings)

How to do it

1.       Rinse the job's tears, glutinous rice, and red beans thoroughly and soak them in water for one hour.

2.       Take a cooking pot, and pour the soaked barley, glutinous rice, red beans, and finely shredded organic purple Ganoderma lucidum slices from GanoHerb into the pot. Add water and bring to a boil.

3.       Turn the heat to low and simmer gently for one hour, stirring occasionally with a spoon to prevent sticking. Finally, you can add a pinch of sugar to taste.

Cooking Tips

1. Adding glutinous rice will make the congee thicker and softer and chewier. If you want a better damp-removing effect, you can choose not to add glutinous rice.
2. The Zhi tablets can be replaced with Ganoderma lucidum spore powder. After the Job's tears porridge has been cooked until soft and tender, add 4g of GanoHerb wall-breaking Ganoderma lucidum spore powder and stir well.
