1: Pure ganoderma spore powder is not bitter.
Pure ganoderma spore powder typically has a mild, non-bitter flavor with a subtle fungal aroma. After the cell walls are broken, the spore oil inside the spores is extracted, causing the powder to darken in color and become prone to clumping into small pieces. However, the taste remains unchanged—still free of any noticeable bitterness.
2: The spore wall also has beneficial effects.
Reishi spores have a double-layered cell wall: the outer layer is composed of chitin, as well as reishi polysaccharides, amino acids, crude fiber, adenosine, and other components; the inner layer is a membrane rich in protein. Therefore, the spore cell wall itself is also highly beneficial for health.
3: Spore powder is not walnut; its shell doesn't harm the stomach.
灵芝孢子不是核桃,单个孢子直径非常微小,甚至肉眼都看不到,破壁后则更加微小,所以不可能像核桃皮那样损伤肠道,相反孢子壁壳所含的活性成分还能保护胃黏膜的修复。
4: When preparing spore powder, dissolve it in warm water—but a quick dissolution doesn't necessarily mean it's better.
Professor Lin Zhibin from Peking University’s School of Medicine once explicitly stated: Spore powder is insoluble in water. When spore powder is mixed with water, it forms a suspension. After allowing it to sit for a period of time, if layering occurs—with the spore powder settling mostly at the bottom—then the quality of the spore powder is considered superior.
