To thoroughly implement the talent development strategy for the new era, further strengthen the talent initiative brand of “Prime Years, Gather in Fuzhou,” and attract more young talents to visit, understand, and develop a passion for Fuzhou, the city organized the 2026 Study Tour Program. Recognized as an industry benchmark for pioneering full-process traceability of Ganoderma, GanoHerb became one of the key destinations of this program.

▲ Watching a Reishi science popularization video

On July 20 and August 3, summer study tour groups from Xiamen University and Tsinghua University visited GanoHerb Group respectively. Driven by curiosity and a desire to learn more about the modernization of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry, the students hoped to combine classroom theories with corporate practices through on-site visits. They gained an in-depth understanding of Ganoderma’s scientific research, technological development, and industrialization process, while experiencing firsthand the vitality of Fuzhou’s industries and the city’s commitment to attracting young talent.

▲ Visiting the Ganoderma Science Museum

▲ Experiencing the appeal of Reishi up close

At the GanoHerb Ganoderma Science Museum, the students embarked on an immersive study experience. Through physical specimens, historical documents, and multimedia interactive technologies, the museum systematically presented the knowledge journey of Reishi—from its historical records and cultural heritage to modern scientific research. The students listened attentively to the explanations, carefully observed Reishi specimens, and reviewed historical literature. Through interactive experiences, they gradually developed a comprehensive understanding of Reishi’s traditional uses, cultivation history, and the latest advances in scientific research.

▲ Visiting the R&D and Production Center

At the R&D and Production Center, through engaging explanations from the staff, the students learned in detail about the company’s latest research achievements in areas including strain breeding, organic cultivation, and full industrial-chain practices. From traditional knowledge to scientific exploration, the visit gave the students a deeper understanding of how modern technology supports the development of traditional Chinese medicine.

▲ Visiting the supercritical extraction workshop

At the supercritical extraction workshop, the students carefully observed the operation of the equipment through viewing windows and engaged in in-depth discussions with technical personnel on topics such as extraction efficiency and production process optimization. One student remarked:

“Today’s visit has been extremely rewarding. From the profound heritage of the Science Museum to the advanced technologies at the Production Center, I never realized that traditional natural resources and modern technology could be integrated so closely. It has truly broadened my horizons.”
