Fujian Silver Economy Tour Visits GanoHerb

Following previous visits to leading enterprises in Xiamen and Zhangzhou, the second phase of the “Fujian Silver Economy Enterprise Tour” research initiative visited GanoHerb Group on July 29. The visit aimed to identify outstanding case studies in the silver economy sector, collect first-hand materials for the preparation of the “Fujian Report on Innovation and Development of the Silver Economy,” and support future industry collaboration at the 2nd Cross-Strait Senior Care Industry Expo.

Hosted by Li Ye, Chairman of GanoHerb Group, the delegation first visited the newly completed Ganoderma Science Museum, which officially opened on July 24. Integrating scientific research exhibitions, cultural communication, academic exchange, and science education, the museum uses physical specimens, historical documents, and multimedia interactive technologies to present the development of Reishi knowledge—from its traditional use records to modern scientific research. The museum also highlights GanoHerb’s development across the Reishi industry chain, including strain breeding, cultivation practices, quality standards development, and research into Reishi-based products.

The delegation then visited the R&D and production center, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s development history, technological innovations, and the commercialization of research achievements.The delegation recognized GanoHerb’s development approach, including its commitment to responsible cultivation practices in Reishi-producing regions, technology-driven innovation, participation in the development of industry standards, and expansion into international markets.

During the symposium, experts including Ma Qiji, Dean of the Institute for Aging Society Studies at Pangoal Institution and Co-Director of the Cross-Strait Silver Economy Innovation Laboratory, and Pan Changfeng, Vice President of the Fujian Development Strategy Research Association and Chairman of its Silver Economy Branch, engaged in discussions with Li Ye, Chairman of GanoHerb Group, on trends in wellness-oriented consumption among older adults.
Chairman Li Ye stated that, while continuing to develop the company’s established product categories, including Reishi spore oil and cell-wall broken Reishi spore powder, GanoHerb is exploring new “Reishi+” lifestyle and wellness product categories. These include product concepts such as Reishi beverages and Reishi coffee, designed to meet evolving consumer interests in wellness and lifestyle choices across different age groups. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reached preliminary consensus on cooperation related to the preparation of the industry report and the 2nd Cross-Strait Senior Care Industry Expo.
