Information

In April, Pucheng is brimming with the vitality of spring, and the air already carries the scent of damp heat. At this moment, the GanoHerb Reishi plantation in Pucheng is in its busiest time. Preparations are in full swing: tidying up the wasteland, setting up mushroom sheds, turning over the soil... The "mushroom sticks" are being buried in the ground one after another, ready for the "planting" of Reishi. Today, we take you into the fields to explore how exactly the Reishi from GanoHerb is "planted"?

To plant Reishi, one must first choose a good plot of land. The environment here is "5A grade".

Located at the Wuyi Mountain Range and the source of the Minjiang River, the GanoHerb Reishi base is surrounded by a lush greenery of plants and trees dripping with moisture all year round.

The flowers, grass, and trees, in varying shades, embellish the verdant waters and green mountains.

According to the criteria for selecting the base set by GanoHerb, this area is located more than 2 kilometers away from human activity zones and has been left abandoned for over 3 years. It is rarely visited by humans, and its soil, air, and water sources remain uncontaminated, making it almost "5A-grade". This makes it particularly suitable for the natural growth of Reishi mushrooms.

The mountain spring water is directly drinkable (in accordance with GB5749).

After burying mushroom sticks underground, we patiently await the emergence of Reishi mushrooms.

Firstly, it is important to understand that Reishi mushrooms do not grow in the soil but rather on mushroom sticks. These sticks serve as bags of nutrient-rich soil, providing the Reishi mushrooms with the necessary nutrients for growth.

Each year, around April, we plant mushroom sticks in well-turned soil, allowing Reishi mushrooms to better absorb nutrients from the surrounding environment and thrive.

Bags of mushroom sticks are neatly arranged, awaiting burial in the ground.

Some of the baby Reishi, with their caps breaking through the soil, reveal a hint of white, clean and round, appearing quite adorable.

In no time, this place will enter the hotter summer season. In the yellow-and-white interlaced fields, tender Reishi mushrooms will grow, standing elegantly with a clean and beautiful appearance. The GanoHerb Reishi Base will also welcome its most beautiful moment.

On each piece of Duanwood, only one Reishi mushroom is cultivated, followed by three years of fallow after two years of cultivation, with no fertilizers or pesticides used. GanoHerb insists on simulating wild cultivation of Reishi mushrooms, making the Reishi mushrooms unearthed here more authentic and organic. The beauty of Reishi mushrooms from GanoHerb stems from the generous gift of nature and the careful cultivation by the GanoHerb base staff. With the peak of summer approaching, the Reishi mushrooms here are ready, waiting for you to come and admire their beauty.
