Try a more sophisticated way to enjoy egg custard.

Having traveled so many roads, seen so many places, and savored egg custard countless times, I suddenly felt like trying a more sophisticated and upscale way to enjoy it. This Lingzhi spore powder egg custard combines the rich aroma of milk with the delicate fragrance of eggs—smooth, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth. Be sure to sprinkle a thin layer of Lingzhi spore powder on top at the very end. It’s simple, delicious, healthy, and brings an abundance of happiness.

Ingredients

GanoHerb Broken Wall Ganoderma Spore Powder 2 grams
Egg 2 units
Pure milk 250 milliliters
White sugar 20 grams

How to do it

1.       Place the milk and granulated sugar together in a pot. Over low heat, dissolve the sugar completely, then remove from heat and let it cool before setting aside.

2.       Beat the eggs into an egg mixture, add the cooled sugar syrup, and mix thoroughly until the egg mixture and sugar syrup are fully combined.

3.       Place the bowls into the steamer. First, steam the bowls over water until they’re warmed through, then divide the sugar-egg mixture evenly among the bowls. Steam for about 10 minutes. Once cooked, sprinkle a layer of spore powder on top.

Cooking Tips

When steaming in a pot, you can cover the bowl with plastic wrap and poke several small holes in it. The plastic wrap prevents water vapor from dripping onto the surface during steaming, while the small holes allow for proper air circulation.
