Ingredients


 

GanoHerb Organic Purple Reishi Slices 4 grams
Silver ear 10 grams
Goji berries Moderate amount
Red dates Several
Lotus seeds Several
Red bean Moderate amount
Coix seed Moderate amount
Peanut Moderate amount
Honey Moderate amount


How to do it


1.       Remove the stems from the silver ear mushrooms, soak them in water for 20 minutes, and then tear them into small pieces.


2.       Take a cooking pot, add water, and place the rehydrated white fungus into the pot. Then add shiitake slices, lotus seeds, goji berries, peanuts, coix seeds, and a small amount of red beans.


3.       After the water has come to a vigorous boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, until the white fungus has thickened into a rich broth. Remove the remnants of the reishi mushroom and consume in three servings. You can add honey according to your personal taste.


Cooking Tips

1. The silver ear fungus must be cooked until it becomes thick and creamy to be considered successful.
2. When making silver ear soup, you can add some nourishing and cooling ingredients according to your personal preference to enhance both the texture and nutritional value.
3. If you don’t have honey, you can use rock sugar or white sugar instead.
