To enrich the summer experience of employees’ children and encourage young people’s curiosity about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Summer Care Class organized by the Directly Subordinate Trade Union of the Fujian Association for Science and Technology visited GanoHerb Group on August 6, 2026. Through this educational visit, the children explored the history, culture, research, and modern development of Ganoderma, gaining a closer understanding of the connection between traditional knowledge and contemporary science.

During the visit, the children toured the Ganoderma Science Museum, a venue dedicated to science education, cultural communication, and research exploration. Through physical specimens, historical materials, and interactive displays, they learned about Ganoderma’s traditional cultural significance, cultivation methods, and scientific research developments. The diverse Ganoderma specimens, featuring different shapes and structures, captured the children’s attention and encouraged their interest in the natural world.

The children also visited the Professor Lin Zhibin’s Ganoderma Academic Achievements Hall, where they learned about Professor Lin’s decades of academic work and contributions to Ganoderma research. Through research documents, publications, and scientific materials, the exhibition introduced the process of studying Ganoderma through scientific methods and evidence-based research.

The tour continued at the R&D and Production Center, where the children observed modern research facilities, quality control procedures, and production equipment through the observation area. The visit provided an opportunity for them to learn how scientific research, technology, and standardized production processes are applied in the development of Ganoderma-related products.

As part of the hands-on activity, the children created Ganoderma-themed photo frames. Drawing inspiration from Ganoderma’s long-standing cultural symbolism in traditional Chinese art and heritage, they incorporated their own creativity into their crafts and created meaningful souvenirs from the experience.

Combining learning with creativity, this activity provided the children with an opportunity to explore Traditional Chinese Medicine culture and scientific discovery in an engaging environment. GanoHerb will continue to support science education initiatives through its Ganoderma Science Museum and related educational activities, encouraging young people to develop curiosity, creativity, and an appreciation for nature, culture, and technology.
