The certification was officially announced on July 24, 2026, during the Academic Symposium on Modern Research of Reishi held in Fuzhou, China.
NSF Certification: Independent Third-Party Verification
NSF is an independent global organization that develops standards and provides certification services for products across various industries. NSF certification for dietary supplements evaluates products against established standards related to manufacturing practices, ingredient verification, product testing, and label accuracy.
Through the NSF/ANSI 173 Dietary Supplements Certification program, products undergo an evaluation process that may include:
Review of product information, ingredient documentation, and label accuracy;
Assessment of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures;
Testing for specified contaminants based on product requirements, which may include microorganisms, heavy metals, and other quality parameters;
Evaluation against applicable NSF/ANSI dietary supplement standards.
NSF certification provides independent third-party verification that a product has been evaluated according to recognized standards.
Quality Management from Cultivation to Finished Product
GanoHerb’s commitment to quality begins with careful cultivation and extends throughout processing, testing, and product traceability.
The company operates its own Reishi cultivation base in the Wuyi Mountains region of China, applying controlled cultivation practices and maintaining organic certifications from China, the United States, Japan, and the European Union for more than 20 years.
To support consistent quality control, GanoHerb operates its own CNAS-accredited laboratory, where raw materials and finished products undergo testing according to established quality procedures.
