From August 9 to 15, the 2026 “Building Dreams Together Through Science Popularization” event was held in Fuzhou. A group of 54 teachers and students from Tibet took part in an immersive program combining visits, hands-on experiences, and study tours. They visited university laboratories, science museums, historical and cultural landmarks, and technology enterprises, gaining first-hand exposure to cutting-edge science and technology, experiencing the cultural heritage of Fuzhou, and learning about the spirit of scientists. As the Reishi Science Branch of the Fujian Science and Technology Museum and the Reishi Knowledge Branch of the Fuzhou Science and Technology Museum, GanoHerb Group was also an important stop on the study tour.

At Professor Lin Zhibin's Ganoderma Academic Achievements Hall, the students listened attentively to the story of Professor Lin’s more than 50 years of scientific research on Reishi. The older generation of scientists’ unwavering commitment, rigorous approach, and pursuit of truth deeply touched every student present.

▲ Visiting the R&D and Production Center
From the inheritance of traditional culture to the innovative application of modern science, and from stringent quality-control systems to fully automated intelligent manufacturing, the students experienced first-hand the power of “technology supporting quality and innovation.” “I had only seen Reishi in textbooks before. Today, I finally realized that so much cutting-edge technology goes into producing a single small Reishi mushroom!” an excited student from Tibet remarked.

Science knows no boundaries, and love knows no borders. When the Gesang flowers of the snow-covered Tibetan Plateau meet the light of science and technology along the shores of the East China Sea, this two-way journey across mountains and seas is destined to plant the seeds of science, technology, and unity in the hearts of young people from Fujian and Tibet. As a National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization and a National High-Tech Enterprise, GanoHerb will continue to deepen its science-popularization and study-tour initiatives, using science and technology as a bridge and culture as a bond, so that the flower of ethnic unity may continue to bloom and flourish on the fertile soil of science and technology.
